The output controls for each unit are set for 1.5 milliAmperes, 2,000 Hertz and the outputs are connected to a 5,000 Ohm resistor. The output voltage is measured with the sampling rate set to 50,000 kHz, 50 of the 5,000 samples acquired are shown here. The output current is obtained by dividing the output voltage by 5,000 Ohms. The Neurometer® CPT/C output is a sine wave with a peak value of 1.5039 milliAmperes. The Medi-Dx 7000 output is an undefined waveform with a peak value of 0.441 milliAmperes.
