      The output controls for each unit are set for 1.5 milliAmperes, 5 Hertz and the outputs are connected to a 5,000 Ohm resistor. The output voltage is measured with the sampling rate set to 8,000 kHz, 3,200 of the 5,000 samples acquired are shown here. The output current is obtained by dividing the output voltage by 5,000 Ohms. The Neurometer® CPT/C output is a sine wave with a peak value of 1.46 milliAmperes. The Medi-Dx 7000 output is an undefined waveform with a peak value of 0.874/0.580 milliAmperes (i.e. the output is not symmetrical).
